Suddiviso in tre movimenti, come una partitura musicale classica, grazie all’uso esclusivo di materiale di repertorio il documentario “Assalto al cielo” offre uno sguardo equidistante e disincantato sul decennio che ha scosso i sogni di rivoluzione italiani. Rivolte operaie e studentesche che hanno gettato il Paese in una spirale di violenza e terrore in nome della speranza di una società più equa. Con spirito neorealista, attraverso i dialetti dei suoi protagonisti Munzi si pone l’arduo compito di ricostruire e completare il quadro storico di quegli anni di piombo che hanno segnato la nostra storia, attraverso la dialettica continua tra il dibattito popolare e la tensione ideale di un popolo ambizioso che rivendica le proprie libertà e diritti.
